Souvla is a group of modern fast-fine Greek restaurants with locations throughout San Francisco inspired by casual souvlaki joints found throughout Greece. Founded by Charles Bililies, Souvla rotisserie roasts naturally raised meats (the word “souvla” means “spit” or “skewer” in Greek — the rod on which meat is roasted) and wraps them in warm, fluffy pita bread or topped on a crisp salad, served with traditional Greek flavors such as feta cheese, pickled vegetables and yogurt sauces, including Souvla’s signature Granch. The beloved San Francisco staple also features its celebrated Greek fries and frozen Greek yogurt served in its own version of the classic “NY Cup,” along with the brand’s own white, rosé, red, orange and bubbly wines. The first Souvla opened its doors in April 2014 in Hayes Valley, and nine years later, the brand has opened locations in San Francisco's NoPa, Mission, Marina and Dogpatch neighborhoods, along with its newest outpost in Marin.

Souvla’s beloved menu includes its signature Greek sandwiches, salads, frozen Greek yogurt, and the country’s only all-Greek beverage menu, which features Souvla’s private label Greek wines in partnership with the renowned Greek producer Domaine Skouras. It's famous for its beloved Chicken Salad and Greek Fries.
